Supporting a free scholastic press for the state of Washington

Incredible opportunity
Check out the amazing two-week Summer Journalism Institute offered by the American Society of Newspaper Editors (ASNE) and the Reynolds  Foundation for journalism teachers.
This fully funded (air fare, housing, food, training, materials) program brings 160 journalism teachers from around the country to one of five university campuses for two full weeks of intensive training in scholastic journalism.
Participants earn university credit, and ASNE then pays for a full year's membership in each participant's state organization. There are more than 20 advisers in our state who have participated in this program, and each one comes back energized, inspired, and possessing an arsenal of new materials and resources.
